The reviews are in, and many are calling Wonder Woman the best DC Extended Universe film since Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight Trilogy. Much of the praise has been heaped on the actress taking on the titular role, Gal Gadot.
In recent weeks, Gadot has charmed us with her beauty, strength, and humor. We oohed when we found that she was Miss Israel in 2004 and that she was an enlisted soldier in the Israel Defense Forces as a combat instructor. We aahed when we found out that she was five months pregnant while shooting the film. It looks like there isn’t anything this woman can’t do.
However, in a recent interview with her co-star Chris Pine, Gadot showed that she’s as vulnerable as everyone else, especially when sitting next to someone as gorgeous as Pine. In an interview promoting the film, Gadot is seen smiling at Pine. She bites her lips, then seems to catch herself. She quickly looks away. It’s completely adorable.

Wonder Woman tells the origin story of the titular superhero. In the film, American pilot Steve Trevor crashes on Themyscira, the island where Amazons live. Trevor meets Diana Prince and tells her about World War I. She is encouraged to join, and she leaves the island to help stop the war. The film is the fourth installment in the DC Extended Universe, and is a lead-up to the upcoming Justice League this November.
Wonder Woman stars Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Connie Nielsen, Robin Wright, Danny Huston, Elena Anaya, Lucy Davis, Saïd Taghmaoui, Ewen Bremner, and David Thewlis. It is directed by Patty Jenkins.
