Kapuso It Girl and Global Endorser Gabbi Garcia has finally revealed the “secret project” she flew into Taipei for earlier in the year.
Her gorgeous photos around the Taiwanese capital drummed up a lot of speculation but the truth is finally out: Gabbi is officially the newest Taiwan Tourism Ambassador. She’s also the first-ever Filipino to hold the position!
She announced the news on her Instagram account with her appointment having been made official during a travel convention in Pasay last Friday.

The Taiwan Tourism Board explained her appointment as being based on the “healthy” and “positive” image she projected in the entertainment industry. Gabbi also stood out for the excellent work she’s done as an actress, singer, and endorser for various brands.
As Taiwan’s new tourism ambassador Gabbi will be tasked to promote the beauty and culture of Taiwan. Her role is to encourage more Filipinos to visit Taiwan and experience all it has to offer.
