Everyone is excited to see Pitch Perfect 2 when it hits the screens in the Philippines this week, and to tide everyone over until seeing it is the music video of “Crazy Youngsters,” Ester Dean’s song for the official soundtrack. But wait… is that who we think it is in the video? Could it be? Yes, it’s Gab Valenciano showing off his dance moves!
In the video, Dean is seen walking around a city. The scenes are cut with scenes of young people dancing in public. In the 1:52 mark, Gab walks in a room with some friends and dances.
In Pitch Perfect, Dean plays Cynthia-Rose Adams, one of the original Barden Bellas. In real life, Dean is a songwriter who has written songs for Christina Aguilera, Katy Perry, Beyoncé, Mary J. Blige, Nicki Minaj, Kelly Clarkson, The Pussycat Dolls, Usher, Rihanna, Britney Spears, Selena Gomez, and many more.
This is not the first time Gab has been featured in an international video. In the past, he appeared on Lil Jon’s “Rock the Vote” video, and he collaborated with Beyoncé for her “7/11” music video. His Super Selfies, a series of dance music set to cheerful music, have also been featured on international news sites.
