Weeks after Tricia Centenera posted a series of cryptic tweets about cheating, it was announced that she will be getting a divorce from husband Gab Valenciano.
She told PEP that they are currently negotiating their divorce. She said that while she is not ready to be friends with him, they are doing their best to deal with the proceedings.
Centenera told PEP, “Because in this settlement, we had our cars, we had our stuff, which we have to kind of separate now. He knows that he was in the wrong.
So he is doing what he can do to help me as a friend, but make up for what he actually did.”
She added that Valenciano apologized for what happened, as well as the parents of the girl who Valenciano had an affair with.
Centenera and Valenciano were married twice, first in Tagaytay Highlands and then in Boracay, but it was revealed that the couple were also married in a civil ceremony in the US in 2014.
Valenciano will fly to the US this month to file the divorce papers.
However, she is not closing her doors to him.
“He was my husband and I’ll be crazy to not miss him. I know we will be friends one day because we’ve been friends for years beforehand and that’s the hardest thing for me to really let go,” she told PEP.
