When In Manila, it’s finally possible to have snow this coming Christmas season!! What’s best, you can enjoy it all year-round!
And by snow, I’m talking about Fun & Mart Korean Grocery’s super-fresh and super-yummy Korean snowflake desserts!
Fun & Mart Korean Grocery has their own dessert bar, offering their signature Korean snowflake desserts and freshly-made yogurt! They also have freshly-squeezed juices and smoothies, making use of fresh ingredients.
The Korean snowflake treats, known as bingsu, are made out of shaved ice (just like snow cones!), and are topped with sweet condensed milk, fruit, red bean paste, mochi, and ice cream!
We love this dessert so much for its cool, refreshing taste– perfect for the year-round heat in the Philippines!
Fun & Mart offers about five different flavors of this frozen treat, but we were able to try the Strawberry Dream: shaved ice, condensed milk, red beans and mochi, topped off with yummy vanilla ice cream and frozen strawberries.
For the health-conscious or for those who want something simpler, Fun & Mart also offers fresh yogurt, which they make themselves. We love how fresh and sweet their natural yogurt is, topped with yummy mango slices. They also offer yogurt shakes and yogurt sundaes if you want to get more creative!
Aside from their dessert bar, Fun & Mart is after all a Korean grocery– meaning 100% of their goods come directly from Korea.
From tasty snacks to Korean toiletries, they have it all here! Fun & Mart even has an entire Frozen section dedicated to authentic Korean frozen goods!
For a quick, cool dessert fix, Fun & Mart shouldn’t be hard to miss– it’s right along White Plains, the first thing you see when you pass by Bellitudo’s. They even chairs outside so you can just stay and chill while you enjoy your treats!
