This Fully-loaded Salmon Sashimi Cake and Scallop Aburi Bake will BAKE your day

And we mean fully-loaded, all right!

What started as a fad has now become a staple in people’s dining tables. Whether it’s to celebrate a birthday or just to get through the week, sushi bakes are here to stay.

That’s probably why there are so many different brands that offer sushi bake. And just as many kinds, too! But if you’re looking for a fully loaded version — one brimming with so much seafood and fish — say hello to Salmon HQ!

Although more popularly known for its trays of big, fresh, and juicy salmon, Salmon HQ has also made a name for themselves when it comes to baked sushi. And that’s not all. This San Juan-based shop even offers a Premium Salmon Sashimi Cake that’s loaded with good stuff, making it a show-stopper for birthday parties.

Salmon HQ’s Premium Salmon Sashimi Cake

Indulge yourself with their 6” premium-cut Salmon Sashimi Cake! The outer layer features thick slices of salmon, and when you cut into it, you will find layer upon layer of flavor. There’s premium kani kama mixed with ebiko, premium spicy salmon, and chuka wakame. All these and more, nestled within Japanese sushi rice for one hearty treat! Yum!

By far, this is one really scrumptious cake and a great addition to every party table. You can even surprise your loved ones with this unique specialty. Each Premium Salmon Sashimi cake is priced at PHP 1,200.

Salmon HQ’s Sushi Bakes

Currently, Salmon HQ has three types of baked sushi: the Crunchy California Sushi Bake, the Uni Scallops Aburi Sushi Bake, and the Aburi Salmon Scallops Ebi Sushi Bake.

The Crunchy California Sushi Bake is a bigger version of the usual California Maki, but made even better. How so? For one thing, it’s baked and filled to the brim with all the trimmings that come with these sushi rolls (mangoes, kani, and all that jazz), but with an added, satisfying crunch!

On the other hand, the Aburi Salmon Scallops Ebi Sushi Bake is Salmon HQ’s creamiest and most savory baked sushi. It’s filled to the brim with so much umami goodness that you won’t be able to finish even a small pan in one sitting. Overflowing with sumptuous goodness is a usual description, as this sushi bake comes with scallops, shrimp, salmon, and tons of creamy kani atop a bed of rice. And best of all, it’s torched for extra smokey flavors!

And finally, the Uni Scallops Aburi Sushi Bake. This one is filled with sweet and briny pieces of uni, premium kani, uni cream sauce, seasoned rice, which is then topped with scallops, uni, crunch, and ebiko. To finish it off, the sushi bake is then torched to bring out the sweet, smoky aroma and umami flavors. Eat it with seaweeds or on its own, and it makes for a good experience!

Available Sushi Bake Sizes

Available sizes include a small 6 and 3/4″ by 5 and 3/4″ pan that’s good for 1 to 3 people, priced at PHP 800. This one comes with one seaweed pack.
