Heads up, Disney fans! Here’s something to look forward to once it’s safe to travel again: the Tokyo Disney Resort has announced that it is expanding its theme park to put up a new area that guests can visit, and it’s going to be inspired by the fictional worlds of “Frozen” and “Tangled!”
The new area will be called “Fantasy Springs” and will feature Arendelle Castle and Elsa’s ice fortress, as well as Rapunzel’s tower.
It is still unknown what the rides or other attractions will be in the area.
Fans of the classic Disney movies will also be happy to discover that Fantasy Springs will debut a Peter Pan area too, taking guests to Neverland without having to fly towards the second star to the right and straight on ’til morning.
Another attraction to be unveiled will be a fountain carved out of a mountain of rocks, one of which is shaped just like Cinderella who left her glass slipper on the staircase. You can also spot the magic mirror peeking through the water on the right!
Fantasy Springs in Tokyo Disney Sea is scheduled to open in 2023 and will be 140,000 square meters big.
