With the modified enhanced community quarantine in place in Metro Manila, Bulacan, Laguna, and Rizal from August 4 to 18, 2020, public transportation will not be allowed again.
The Office of the Vice President, led by Leni Robredo, is relaunching her free shuttle service to allow frontliners to get to their workplaces without any hassle.
In a Facebook post, Robredo said, “Bilang tugon sa inaasahang pangangailangan ng ating frontliners sa transportasyon sa loob ng two-week implementation ng MECQ, muling ihahandog ng Tanggapan ni Vice President Leni Robredo ang free shuttle service para sa kanila.”
“As a response to the need of frontliners for transportation in the two-week implementation of MECQ, the Office of Vice President Leni Robredo is once again offering the free shuttle service for them.”
The service will include eight routes across various cities in NCR. Some routes include from Starmall Alabang to Chinese General Hospital (and vice versa), from Heritage Hotel to the Lung Center of the Philippines (and vice versa), and from SM Mall of Asia to Amang Rodriguez Memorial Medical Center (and vice versa). The routes will also stop at hospitals along the way.
