Four New Harry Potter Books Are Coming, Says JK Rowling

This is not a drill: JK Rowling is set to release four new Harry Potter books this year!

The British author wrote in a statement published on the Pottermore website that she will be publishing non-fiction eBook short stories that will allow readers of the Harry Potter series to “delve deeper into the rich history of magic.”

Each eBook will focus on specific Hogwarts lessons we know and love: Defence Against the Dark Arts, Potions and Herbology, Divination and Astronomy, and the Care of Magical Creatures!

These will also feature notes, manuscript pages, and sketches previously seen in Harry Potter: A History of Magic, published back in 2017.

The first two eBooks, Harry Potter: A Journey Through Charms and Defence Against the Dark Arts and Harry Potter: A Journey Through Potions and Herbology, will be published online on June 27, 2019.

The next two, Harry Potter: A Journey Through Divination and Astronomy and Harry Potter: A Journey Through Care of Magical Creatures, will be made available soon after.

They are currently available for preorder on Amazon and Apple.
