Former Actress Michelle Madrigal Is Now a US Citizen

Michelle Madrigal marked a milestone in her life after she finally took her oath of citizenship in the United States of America five years since moving to the country.

On Instagram last February 12, the former actress emotionally expressed her joy over receiving her naturalization certificate as she shared a picture she took at the office of US Citizenship and Immigration Services.

“It’s the citizenship for me,” she said simply in the caption of her post.

She including in her post a short video of herself crying tears of happiness and wishing that her daughter, Anika, was there to celebrate the occasion with her.

‘Pag may malalaking bagay na nangyayari (When something big happens to you), all you want to be surrounded with is your family,” she said. “I wish Anika was here. Gusto ko lang may kasama dito (I just want to have somebody to be with), family to celebrate. But we did it. I’m a US citizen. My gosh, I’m so emotional!”

She also uploaded a YouTube vlog detailing her experience of finally getting naturalized. “Hello, American Girl!” she gushed.

Michelle as among the finalists of talent show “Star Circle Quest” and has starred in multiple projects such as “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano,” “Zorro,” and “Dyesebel.” She revealed her break up with husband Troy Woolfolk last August 2021 after two years of marriage. Their daughter, Anika, was born in 2017.
