The sun is up and so are our shades. It’s finally the season for swimsuit shopping, island hopping, tans, and henna tattoos. But hold that thought! Remember those tattoo horror stories? From misspelled tattoos to fake ink that’ll give you hives (eeek!) to tattoo artists who can’t exactly replicate the tattoo you want; that’s enough to get you to swear off permanent tattoos for life.
But don’t fret! We found something that you won’t regret. We tried out Forest Collective Temporary Tattoos and they didn’t disappoint! These tattoos are to die for! I mean, just look at the designs! Am I right or am I right?
They have about 32 tattoo designs for you to choose from on their website. You don’t have to worry about your tattoo not looking exactly the way you want or about getting hives from the ink. Forest Collective only uses safe, non-toxic, FDA-approved cosmetic ink. The best part is that all you need is 30-45 seconds and ta-da: you have a brand new tattoo that will last up to 5 days! Since the tattoos are waterproof, you don’t have to worry about getting them wet in the shower, either.
And then, when you get bored of it, just stick on another one and you’ll have a new one up your sleeve. You’ll never have to worry about the pain of getting an actual tattoo, either! Pins and needles happen to make my knees turn to jelly, but if you really want to go for an actual tat, read this: How to Survive Your First Tattoo Session.
Pro tips: when applying the tattoo, it’s best to use a large towel to completely cover the surface area of the tattoo. This will ensure everything stays in one place. Ideally, after applying the tattoo, you should carefully dab it with water to remove the shine. They also recommend putting a little lotion on the area to moisturize it and add a thin layer of protection to the tattoos.
I’ve actually used a few of these tattoos myself and they look stunning after application. I’ve gotten a ton of compliments from people when they saw my tattoo. Some of them even mistook it for the real deal. This temporary tattoo can totally complete your summer look when you head to the beach. Get yours today!
