Just when you thought they were on a diet at the Governor’s Ball and just ate salad, the Miss Universe contestants were served a scrumptious dinner.
On Monday, the 65th Miss Universe Governor’s Ball was held at the SMX Convention Center.
From a report on ABS-CBN, the Miss Universe contestants had a full course dinner — from appetizer to dessert.
Who prepped the evening’s dinner?
It was no other than veteran restaurateur Glenda Barretto of Via Mare.
On the menu, they served salmon tartar in sesame cone, white anchovy ceviche, and flaked chicken triangles as appetizers.
Then, Prawns Catalan with mesclun on crispy noodles, roasted pumpkin with apple cream and Angus beef brisket for mains.
Finally, they served the Ube Wonder for dessert.
The 65th Miss Universe coronation will be aired live on ABS-CBN Channel 2 on January 30, 2017, Monday, at 8 AM (Manila time).
