When in Manila and you are into toys, cosplays, k-pop, and other pop culture things we didn’t list out yet, then you better drop by SM Megamall this weekend for “THE GATHERING” at the 10th Toys & Hobbies Convention 2016.
Celebrating its 10th year anniversary, the 10th TAGCOM will be happening this April 16 t0 17 at the SM Megatrade Hall 3, SM Megamall. With a jampacked schedule for the two days at Megamall, the TAGCOM is the place to be this coming weekend. If you’re still undecided on wheter or not you should go, we got five ‘geekgasmic’ things to look forward to for the 10th TAGCOM.

1. K-Pop and Ligthsaber Performances
For all you K-Pop junkies out there, you’ll be treated to a wonderful performance by a number of K-Pop performers. IVY! MUSUME, RAINDROP, and BOREALIS will take on the stage and give TAGCOM one helluva show! There will also be a light saber performance care of Fightsaber Philippines. If you are a Star Wars fan, it’s a sight you should not dare miss. The force is indeed strong in TAGCOM.

2. Competitions Ahoy!
The 10th TAGCOM will feature a couple of competitions in its two-day run. There will be a Cosplay Competition for all you cosplayers out there. There will be a dance competition in this year’s TAGCOM as well.

3. Meet and Greet Some World Famous Cosplayers and Comic Artists
The 10th TAGCOM features a couple of famous international cosplayers and YOU will get the chance to meet and greet them. Our local cosplayer known as Aien will be making an appearance in the event. Watch out for Chinese cosplayers Hana and Baozi as well as Japanese cosplayer Hiro. You will also get to meet a number of local comic book artists such as Patty Arroyo, Jeff Benitez, Amos Villar and more.
4. Toys, Toys Everywhere
Well DUH! It’s not the TAGCOM if you won’t see any TOYS around. If you want to get a bargain, TAGCOM might be the place for you as there will be toy stalls selling a certain collectible or action figure that you’ve been looking for. Are you a toy collector who won’t mind outbidding fellow collectors? Good news! TAGCOM will also have a toy auction. Not into the whole buying/selling and would just LOVE to check out some kick-ass toy displays? We got your hookup, my friend. TAGCOM will feature some great displays of the country’s toy collectors.

5. Meet New and Old Friends and Geek Out with them!
Meet up with your crew and grab some #squadgoals by joining the competition, meeting your favorite cosplayer, cosplaying together or just having a bangin’ good time at TAGCOM in general. TAGCOM may also be your opportunity to meet up with fellow fans and geek out with them in all the TAGCOM events this weekend 😀
