Finally, vice president Jejomar Binay conceded to president-apparent Rodrigo Duterte.
According to Inquirer, Binay’s communications director Joey Salgado released a statement saying that vice president reached out to Duterte and congratulated him for winning in the 2016 elections.
Salgado said:
We confirm that Vice President Binay has talked to President-elect Duterte. He extended his congratulations and wished the president-elect all the best.
