Filipino director Mikhail Red is heading to Hollywood. The director, with critically-acclaimed films ‘Eerie’, ‘Birdshot’ and ‘Neomanila’ (among others) under his belt, has been scouted by US talent management and production company 3 Arts Entertainment. They are now exclusively representing the director for any of his future US projects.
3 Arts Entertainment represents Hollywood A-listers Chris Evans, Robert Pattinson, and Jessica Alba. Ari Lubet, Red’s Hollywood agent told Inquirer.net that he reached out after seeing one of the trailers for his films. He said he was blown away by his “powerful storytelling and visual aesthetic” after watching the films that he’s made.

Red told the Inquirer that he was both surprised and excited. He shared that transitioning to English-language works has been one of his objectives.
Red withdrew from sharing details about his future plans. He is currently working on an action/fantasy mini-series, a film about the Black Dahlia serial killer, and a Japanese sci-fi project.
