This Filipina Chef Creates Delicious Chocolate-Covered Strawberry Bouquets for Every Occasion

One of the treats that I absolutely love but don’t have the luxury to eat on a regular basis is chocolate-covered strawberries. Whenever I get the chance to eat strawberries, I always make it a point to have chocolate syrup nearby to drizzle it in. Strawberries in themselves are delicious; but when you coat them in chocolate, they’re like pure heaven. So when I saw Chef Marj’s chocolate-covered strawberry creations, I was floored.

Chef Marj was an entrepreneur and a franchisor of Elite Nails Spa, which was around for a decade, and an importer of goods from China and Thailand for her concept store District 28 Fashion Boutique in Pasig. Unfortunately, when the pandemic came, she lost all of her businesses. Being a graduate student of Baking and Pastry Arts at AICA (The Academy for International Culinary Arts) and at ISCAHM (International School for Culinary Arts and Hotel Management International), Chef Marj thought of baking to relieve her stress – something she hadn’t actually done since she graduated three years ago.

“At first, I was baking cookies, cheesecake, and cakes for my family and friends,” she shares. “Then, my husband suggested making some to sell.” Upon seeing and feeling the support from her neighbors and loved ones, Chef Marj’s passion for baking was reignited and she hasn’t stopped since. That’s how Amaze & Graze was born.

The highlights of Amaze & Graze are definitely their unique chocolate-covered strawberry bouquets. Not only do they look great, but they also taste amazing! Plus, the strawberries are HUGE – definitely worth the price. These stunning creations are perfect gifts for any occasion or even just because. They are cute and colorful and are sure to put a smile on anyone’s face. They are best eaten when chilled and within two days.

Don’t be fooled by the pictures, by the way. These creations are quite big so they are best transported in an air-conditioned car. If that is not an option for you, you can order them in boxes instead. They’ll be just as stunning and just as delicious either way.

Chef Marj’s husband weighs in that Chef Marj studied each process from properly receiving and preparing the strawberries to carefully doing the technique in French macarons to picking the right ingredients like chocolates to balancing the taste to mixing everything in with other products and most importantly applying safe server practice at all times.
