Fil-Austrian singer JJ wins the latest edition of the Eurovision Song Contest. The finals was held on May 17, 2025, in Basel, Switzerland.
The Eurovision Song Contest is an international song competition, with each contestant submitting an original song representing their country.
JJ, or Johannes Pietsch, represented Austria and won against 36 countries. He won for his song “Wasted Love,” which he wrote with Teya and Thomas Thurner.

JJ joins a long list of Eurovision winners, including ABBA and Celine Dion.
Prior to Eurovision, JJ joined The Voice UK and Starmania.
