TEAM ADAM AND TEAM PINOY, EVERYONE!
Fil-Am jazz singer Amy Vachal landed a spot in the top 12 of The Voice US after her coach Adam Levine chose to save her in the show, eliminating three other members on his team! Adam’s two other bets, Jordan Smith and Shelby Brown were voted into the top 12 by viewers’ votes.
And really, is it that hard to see why? According to the judges, Amy sings like a dream!
For her latest performance, a cover of Frank Sinatra’s “The Way You Look Tonight”, former coach Pharrell Williams said that her performance was “effortless and crazy”, and even went on to comment that she could win!
With Amy in the running to win The Voice, other contenders include Jeffrey Austin, Braiden Sunshine and Korin Bukowski from Gwen Stefani’s team; Zach Seabaugh, Barrett Baber and Emily Ann Roberts of team Blake; and Pharrell’s bets Evan Mckeel, Mark Hood and Madi Davis.
During the auditions, Amy was a three-chair turner, with Adam not being able to turn for her early on in the show as he had already filled up his slots. Adam used his steal on Amy when she lost in The Voice Knockouts.
