When in Manila , Dressing up vintage is not everyone’s cup of tea. But if styled correctly, you’re in for a classy look. To be honest, I’m not a super fashionable person. I just really make an effort to put clothes and accessories together the best way I can–not too much, just simple and and clean-looking. So when I saw Tim&Franc on Instagram, I was pretty stoked.
Tim&Franc is operated by two young entrepreneurs, Therese Javier and Ana Javier. It all started when Ana enrolled in fashion school. Every time she learns something new from her class, she would make her friends a sample. Their friends loved it and often asked them where they got it or if they’re selling. Inquires piled up so the logical thing to do was to turn it into a business that is Tim&Franc.
Betty in White (Terno Price: 1,150 Php)
Their selections are pretty limited (as of now) but it was certainly more than enough for me because what they have are closet staples– basic colors, simple & flattering designs, and quality fabric. My favorite design from them is Betty in White . Although White is not everybody’s favorite color, the silhouette of the top and skirt manages to be flattering.
Betty also comes in Midnight Blue (Terno Price: 1,150 Php)
