Fashion designer creates PPEs for this airline’s cabin crew

Fashion designer Edwin Tan created Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs) for Philippine Airlines’ (PAL) cabin crew. PAL has called this the ‘new normal’ as they conduct special flights amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

A Facebook post by Cielo Villaluna shows the PPEs that were designed for the airline’s cabin crew. She says, “While these garments serve primarily to protect our crew, having the right fit is essential to enable them to carry out their functions with ease.”

Fashion designer Edwin Tan also said that he used a non-porous material for the PPEs. He said that this is a material with substantial weight to give it a better fall than generic PPEs. With this, Villaluna also adds that the designer’s creations fuse the elements of protection, comfort, and PAL branding.

The post also says that PAL’s cabin crew uniform for this season will also showcase various looks, designs, and colors.
