Hours away from the official release Taylor Swift’s new album, Reputation and fans are already going crazy! Aside from the previous four tracks that Taylor just dropped over the past weeks, Swifties are sweating over what seems to be a highly possible collaboration between Taylor and Selena Gomez within the album tracks. Could it really be possible that the BFFs have finally created music together?
Given Taylor’s propensity for hints and subtle clues, Swifties are reading into every single detail that has been released about Reputation.
Interestingly, though, the idea that Taylor and Selena may have cooked up a song together didn’t come from the singer herself, but from Scott Borchetta, President and CEO of Swift’s record label, Big Machine Label Group.
Although he doesn’t seem to be like the scheming, secretive type, Borchetta did kind of drop a huge bomb on Swifties, which is honestly really telling! Borchetta recently tweeted Target’s promotional video for Reputation, with a simple and short caption: “This is so good…”. It would have been innocuous had he not tagged Selena Gomez’ account beside Taylor and Big Machine’s.
Perhaps everyone would just have to wait and see!
