If you’ve always dreamed of going to SDCC, a haven for fanboys, fangirls, nerds, and geeks everywhere, you’re finally in luck. Be stopped no longer by ticket prices, flights, hotels, and all the extra fees and complications that come with attending the beloved convention. This year, it’s going to be free and completely online!
“For the first time in our 50-year history, we are happy to welcome virtually anyone from around the globe,” David Glanzer told Collider. “Though stay-at-home conditions make this a very difficult time, we see this as an opportunity to spread some joy and strengthen our sense of community.”
From July 22 to 26, SDCC will be open virtually for anyone to attend. What used to take hours in terms of lines will now just be clicks away! You can see your favorite panels, see the halls, and even merch that they’re selling online. It’s super exciting! We can’t wait! See you (virtually) there!
