Gwyneth and Chris may have been divorced for three years now, but the two prove that divorce doesn’t have to be messy after the two were spotted vacationing with their kids Apple and Moses in Antigua!
The Oscar-winning actress and the Coldplay frontman first announced that they were “consciously uncoupling” in 2014 shortly before filing for a divorce, saying that the two remained friends.
In an interview with InStyle magazine in 2016, Gwyneth opened up about staying friendly with her ex-husband and how she and Chris have “contributed something positive to the culture of divorce.”
“We have our own lives but we still have our family life,” she told InStyle magazine. “To this day, Chris would take a bullet for me, even though I’m not his wife.”
Gwyneth also spoked to The EDIT about turning her divorce into a positive thing for her and her family.
“What if I didn’t blame the other person for anything, and held myself 100 per cent accountable? What if I checked my own s**t at the door and put my children first? And reminded myself about the things about my ex-husband that I love, and fostered the friendship?”
Gwyneth and Chris have since moved on to other partners: the actress has been engaged to Glee producer Brad Falchuk for over a year, whom she has been dating since 2014; meanwhile, Chris was recently photographed with Dakota Johnson in Paris earlier this month.
