WAKE ME UP because this really not a drill!!! Evanescence is definitely and officially out of hiatus as they have quietly dropped a new single.
A few weeks ago, the rock band posted the song on their YouTube account. It’s entitled “Imperfection,” but the song is every bit as perfect as it is.

The “Bring Me To Life” hit-maker may have welcomed a slightly new sound with their latest single (and I don’t mind because it is 2017 after all), there’s no doubt that we can still hear that dark and distinctive Evanescence tone that we all love.
In 2015, the band stated that they will not be producing any new music but will resume touring with their old songs. It was then revealed that they will be releasing a new album entitled Synthesis this year.

“Imperfection” will be part of the album which will feature just two new songs and the rest will be reworked versions of their classic hits.
Fans are all very eager for the band’s new songs. We are, too! We’re busting out our black eyeliner for this!
