Error 403 presents “ZERO: No Holds Barred”, a Multimedia Arts Portfolio Exhibit

The senior students of Bachelor of Arts in Multimedia Arts from Lyceum of the Philippines University Cavite will be having an external multimedia arts exhibit as part of their academic activity, entitled “ZERO: No Holds barred” presented by Error 403, featuring the artworks of the 20 students from LPU-C, MMA-403, together with their media partners, and Lemniscate Productions.

This exhibit will serve as a means to highlight a collection of artistic works of Multimedia Arts students, demonstrating their skills and potentials in creating new and unique ideas in the field of art. ZERO: No Holds Barred is conceptualized to feature the students’ artistic skills through their works and to expose them to new opportunities and experiences.

ZERO: No Holds Barred is about taking risks, experimenting and finding your own voice. It is an exhibit to appreciate the beauty of revolting and doing errors in art. The exhibit is meant to display thought-provoking, maybe eye-opening and hopefully fun interpretations of creative disobedience. The concept came from the idea of breaking the rules. As an artist, sometimes they are being categorize, they are being put in a box, and they just want to get out. They want to break those maxims. Rules are made to be broken- true, but breaking them out of ignorance often leads to disaster, and breaking them from knowledge can sometimes lead to something truly special. A notable saying by one of the greatest artist in history, “Learn the rules like a pro, and break them like an artist” by Pablo Picasso clearly is one of its inspirations.

Are you ready to see some rules, broken? Few more days left before 0. Join us on February 11-12, 2016 at CANVAS, Westgate Center in Alabang, Muntinlupa City at 4PM – 9PM.
