Apparently, someone is spreading fake news that an Eraserheads Reunion is happening.
The worst part? They’re selling fake VIP tickets for a shocking price of PHP 75,000!
Ely Buendia took to Twitter to warn Pinoys of this scam in a series of now-deleted tweets.
“I heard there’s a scam going around for an eheads reunion concert promising vip tickets for 75k. Have you been victimized?” he asked.
He added: “For the record, I am not aware of any reunions happening this year or any time in the future.”
He also defended himself against those who allegedly point fingers at him for being the reason why an Eraserheads Reunion has yet to happen.
“It’s not like I’m the only one deciding these things. I’m just another cog in the machinery,” he said. “Don’t get why when it’s something negative about the band, the blame falls on me, but if it’s something positive, oh, it’s a group effort. Anyway I was just trying to warn the general public. Peace.”
