The classic musical Miss Saigon has been a platform for many of the greatest Filipino artists to showcase their talent to the world.
It started with Lea Salonga who led the original cast as Kim in 1989. Then for the 25th anniversary of the thirteenth longest-running musical, Rachelle Ann Go joined the new cast.

For this year’s Miss Saigon tour, Broadway World reported that three Pinoy artists would be joining the cast as well.
Theater actor Red Concepcion will be playing the role of The Engineer, singer Gerald Santos as Thuy, and theater actress Joreen Baustista will be alternating as Kim.
Lea Salonga was quick to congratulate the three on this great opportunity.
Red Concepcion is a theater actor who was recently in the musical Caredivas. Gerald Santos’ career started when he won in the local TV singing competition Pinoy Pop Superstar.
The show is set to open in England on July 1 and will run until July 22. We’re absolutely excited to see these three up on that musical stage!
