Dreams come true for beauty enthusiast and skin care consultant Mercedes Edney who hails from Charlotte, North Carolina. Determined to attend esthetician (beauty) school, she put up an online fundraiser in YouCaring.com in hopes for support to get by through school with a goal of $6000. She was able to raise $400 in about a month.

Unbeknownst to her, someone donated the full amount.

Edney took it to Twitter how shocked she was when she found out that someone “paid the entire tuition for esthetician school” – only to find out through a user’s reply that it was Chrissy Teigen, attaching a screencap of her online fundraiser and the monetary donation of the supermodel and her name.

The tweets read:

“I was so prepared to just keep struggling until I got my goals accomplished. This just helped me so much.

You guys, I walked into the school and explained what happened and burst into tears. The lady couldn’t believe what I was telling her.

If I ever meet Chrissy Tiegen in person, I’m giving her the biggest hug on earth.”

Good luck in living out your dreams, Mercedes! <3
