After three years, Lorde is making a comeback as she releases her newest single “Green Light.” The song is part of her upcoming album “Melodrama.” This is her follow-up to her 2013 album “Pure Heroine” which won phenomenal success while still a teenager.

On the music video, Lorde appears at a nightclub. She sings to herself in the mirror of a bathroom where a pianist performs in the corner. Then, she calls a car as she eventually hops on its roof to dance.
Apparently, she wrote the song with fun’s guitarist, Jack Antonoff. She said that she spent the last 18 months with Antonoff working on the album. She also said it will be released in the coming months.
Lorde will play a series of upcoming festivals including Coachella.
