With the Harry Potter franchise just recently celebrating its 20th year, I’m sure many Potterheads are getting even more excited for the next Fantastic Beasts film. Well, try not to freak out too much because Warner Bros. just released a lot more details about the sequel.
We all know that Jude Law has been cast as the Young Albus Dumbledore for the Fantastic Beasts films, so Dumbledore is pretty much confirmed to be making quite a big appearance in this film.

Reports say that this second Fantastic Beasts film will take place a few months after the first film, with Grindewald having escaped prison, pushing Dumbledore to team up with Newt Scamander in order to stop the wizard’s heinous plans.
Eddie Redmayne, playing Newt, will definitely be back for the sequel, and joining him on his return will be Tina, Queenie, and the No-Maj Jacob. We wonder what adventures they’ll be pulled into this time.
Credence, played by Ezra Miller, is also confirmed to be coming back in a”mysterious way.” Leta Lestrange, who was featured in a moving photo in the first film, will also be appearing again, possibly with a bigger role. The second Fantastic Beasts film will also be introducing us to Theseus Scamander, Newt’s older brother, who will be played by Callum Turner.
There’s bound to be lots of familiar Harry Potter references in this film, especially since Dumbledore will be taking the spotlight along with Newt.
Fantastic Beasts 2 has begun principal photography and is set to premiere on November 16, 2018. Can’t wait!
