ENTERTAINMENT: Final season of ‘Game of Thrones’ to be released in first half of 2019

Winter is coming… And it might be in the first half of 2019.

The highly anticipated final season of Game of Thrones is set to air in the first half of 2019. This is according to several reports including the one from HBO programming president Casey Bloys saying on July 25 that the season 8 of the show will premiere in the first half of 2019.

The final season is believed to continue where the show left off. There are posts from the show’s cast hinting that they’ve already finished filming it.

Emilia Clarke, who plays Daenerys Targaryen, shared about finally finishing filming the show’s final season on Instagram on June 18.

Maisie Williams, who plays Arya Stark, also bid goodbye to her character and the show through a post on Instagram on July 7.
