Recently, there were rumors going around social media that Kylie Padilla is pregnant and that Aljur Abrenica will become a daddy soon.
The actor confirmed the rumors but he made a few clarifications regarding his relationship with the Encantadia actress.
According to Aljur via pep.ph, their engagement came first prior to the pregnancy. Apparently, he already proposed to Kylie three times even before the rumors surfaced.
In October 2016, Aljur proposed for the first time while the two were at Disney Sea. Although Kylie didn’t think it was serious at that time, she said ‘yes’ and they started living together to test the water.
The second proposal happened in the Philippines. Aljur turned a green wire into a ring and proposed again, which Kylie accepted again.
Kylie even posted a photo of the makeshift engagement ring on IG.
The last proposal, which is probably the most serious of all involved a real engagement ring. Although out of work at that time, Aljur used his savings to buy the ring, which made Kylie proud.
However, the actor was a little disappointed when Kylie’s management pre-empted the announcement of their engagement.
