For more than 20 years of remarkable existence, the Civil engineering Executive Organization (CEO) brings you Engineering Congress 2022!
CEO, a duly recognized academic organization based in the College of Engineering and Agro-Industrial Technology of the University of the Philippines Los Baños , will be holding the Engineering Congress 2022 equipped with the theme, “Forging Alternatives: Breakthroughs of Sustainable Engineering amidst Contemporary Socio-economic Challenges”.
Engineering Congress, now on its 17th installment, is a national annual engineering event that comprises the Engineering Seminar and the Executives’ Challenge that will be held on February 12, 2022.
The Engineering Seminar 2022 is an annual national conference for all engineers and engineering students all over the country. This year’s seminar comes with a registration fee of PHP 30.00 and will be graced by reputable and distinct speakers who will share their expertise on their respective fields of engineering.
The Executives’ Challenge: CAD Edition, on its 2nd year online, will test all the teams from different colleges and universities as they are challenged to make and produce their own genuine structural models to improve engineering designs that promote sustainability and harbor protection of the environment. The challenge also highlights its PHP 25,000 for the grand prize, PHP 10,000 for the 1st-runner up and PHP 5,000 for the 2nd-runner up. Aside from the grand winners, teams in the Top 10 will receive E-certificates with the project proposals posted on the Engineering Congress Official Facebook page on the event day.
As the CEO celebrates its 21st anniversary, part of the proceeds from the event will be for its annual outreach program called, “Livelihood Initiative for Everyone Project” or “LIFE Project, a project that provides a sustainable livelihood for the community. The organization aspires that this initiative could be of great help to the community as the country is still facing the struggles brought by the pandemic.
