Engineering Congress 2019

Engineering Congress, hosted by the Civil engineering Executive Organization, is an annual nationwide event which comprises the Engineering Seminar and Executives’ Challenge. Engineering Congress will hold its 14th installment this February 9-10, 2019 at the University of the Philippines – Los Baños.

Through the years, Engineering Seminar has encompassed several engineering topics such as wind engineering, green engineering, and earthquake engineering with several speakers coming from prestigious universities and companies in the Philippines. These topics supplement the learning of the participants beyond the four walls of their classrooms through the speakers’ interactive lecture presentations. This year’s Engineering Seminar with the theme “Masterplan: Redesigning the Philippine Urban Network through Smart and innovative Engineering towards a Sustainable Development” will feature urban planning and development. Engineering Seminar 2019 is a conference open to all engineers and engineering students from all over the country.

On the other hand, Executives’ Challenge is a national intercollegiate quiz contest where our future engineers are expected to compete in terms of their knowledge on the foundation of engineering. This event is famous for being one of the most challenging quiz contests in the country. Also, it has the toughest competition since it is participated by different schools nationwide, most of these schools are well-known and considered high caliber in the field of engineering.

Up your preparations for this year’s Executives’ Challenge as we upgraded the Champions’ cash prize to 70,000 pesos! The 2nd place will take home 30,000 pesos and the 3rd place will earn 10,000 pesos. Are you ready to take the challenge and reign supreme?
