To celebrate his 31st birthday, actor and athlete Enchong Dee did something different. Instead of throwing a party, he woke up early in the morning to plant trees with actress Ria Atayde and his fan club at Taal Maranan’s Farmville in Batangas.
Enchong shared his story on Instagram, saying, “We planted 31 Trees (Avocado and Palm)?? @enchongdeeworldcentral thanks for a fruitful day? @ria let’s create patches of forests… let’s all do???? #ClimateEmergency”

Ria also shared the story on the platform, saying, “To celebrate his birthday, he wanted to do something different so he came over at 5AM and dragged me to help him plant trees with @enchongdeeworldcentral (thank you guys for supporting our causes and for being a part of the change we want to see) ? appreciate you and all your efforts to create the change we want see together, slowly but surely. Loffyu HenchongDi! Can’t wait to be back in a couple of years to see the little forest we built today. ?”
This is not the first time Enchong and Ria have worked together for Mother Nature. This March, the two joined Reef Check Philippines for a Manila Bay clean-up.
