Bad news for Ellen and good news for single men: actress and model Ellen Adarna is now single.
According to Ellen, she and her boyfriend, who she’s been with for almost two years, have parted ways last September, but she only revealed it this week. She said:
Siguro, dumating ako dun sa point na I have to decide and ‘yun nga ‘yung decision. Wala na, break na. And may mga issues din kami na hindi na talaga naayos and mahirap na ayusin din. Alam naman niya kung ano ‘yung reason.
(Maybe it reached the point where I have to decide and that was the decision. So we broke up. There were issues that were never resolved and it was hard to fix. We both know the reason.
She did not reveal the reason behind the breakup, but she said that with her personality, nothing won’t change her mind once she decides on something. The couple have chosen not to communicate after, because Ellen said that it’s the best way for her to move on from the relationship. She said:
Kapag ayoko na, ayoko na and walang iyak-iyak. Kailangan move on kaagad! And besides, hindi naman kasi magiging ganun if walang reasons. Kaya naman nag-e-end ang relationships because may dahilan. And alam naman namin pareho yung reasons kung bakit nag-end na yung relationship.
(I don’t want to do it anymore and I don’t want to cry. I need to move on right away. And besides, we wouldn’t break up if there were no reasons. There are reasons why relationships end, and we both know why ours ended.)
There were rumors that her Pasyon de Amor co-star Ejay Falcon was the cause of the breakup, but Ellen denied this. However, she said that there are men who have expressed an interest in her romantically. She said that she would rather focus on her career. According to her:
May mga nagpaparamdam, pero wala muna, iba ‘yung priorities ko right now. Siguro, for now, I would like to concentrate on my career and ‘tsaka na ulit ‘yung love.
(There are those who have expressed an interest, but my priorities are different now. Maybe for now, I would like to concentrate on my career and love can come later.)
