In an interview with Boy Abunda, Elisse Joson talks about moving on from McCoy de Leon.

She said, “Sobra [akong nasaktan], Tito Boy. It took a while, actually, Tito Boy, masasabi ko na hindi na talaga mawawala na ‘yun, it’s always gonna be there, part na ‘yun ng life ko but every day lang it’s just easier na” [I was really hurt, Tito Boy. It took a while, actually. I can say that it won’t disappear, it’s always gonna be there.

It’s part of my life but it gets easier every day.”]

Last August, de Leon also talked about moving on. Steady lang” [“There comes a point when I miss having a love team. Fans saw everything we did. I admit that it’s a bit still now. Just steady.]

Joson was briefly linked to Jameson Blake but she said that they only dated.

De Leon admitted that he was surprised when he heard the news. “Ako siguro masaya at malungkot.

[“I was both happy and sad. Sad because I got to used to being around her so much. I’m also happy because because’s happy.

However, he clarified that he has no hard feelings.

[“I know the person she’ll be with and I know he will take care of her. Why would I be mad at people who are happy?”]
