After enjoying a foot spa session, we were treated to a 1-hour combination massage (Shiatsu and Swedish). I’m personally a big fan of shiatsu massages as I love how they tend to the pressure points of your body, but I’m also partial to the soothing movements Swedish massages provide.
I was surprised at how bright and spacious the massage rooms in Eforea were, as they were not partitioned by curtains but actual doors.
We were given a choice from an array of massaging oils: their recommended peppermint oil, the mintier eucalyptus oil, and the unscented oil. Because the peppermint oil came at a recommendation, I picked this one as it supposedly had relaxing properties. After the masseuse worked her magic onto my joints and muscles, I felt myself going in a slumber…
I have to mention that I was currently suffering from asthma during my visit. When I woke up in the middle of the massage, I felt my lungs relieved. I KID YOU NOT. So that should probably be testament enough on how effective the massage was.
