‘Eat Bulaga’ gives away 3D printers for PPE production

Eat Bulaga is known for giving away kabuhayan packages to the less fortunate. However, with the shortage in PPEs, it shifted to giving away 3D printers for PPE production.

The noontime show donated three 3D printers on Monday, March 30, to the University of Santo Tomas (UST), which has been producing face shields for people in the frontline who are helping the country prevent the further spread of the new coronavirus and hopefully contain it.

UST expressed its gratitude through a Facebook post.

It wrote:

UST receives brand-new 3D printers from Eat Bulaga for PPE production

The University of Santo Tomas, through the Faculty of Engineering, received three brand-new Ultimaker 2+ 3D printers from the company producing the country’s longest-running noontime show, Eat Bulaga.

The new printers, installed in the University earlier today, will augment UST’s efforts of producing visors for the face shields of frontliners.

Maraming salamat, TAPE, Inc. at mga Dabarkads!

Once the PPEs are available, some beneficiaries include the UST Hospital and Red Cross Rizal Chapter.
