Drew Arellano has undergone a vasectomy after recently welcoming his fifth child with his wife, Iya Villania.

The TV host shared a photo of himself wearing a hospital gown and a medical hair net, striking a playful pose after the procedure.
“Happy late and advanced Mother’s Day to my wife,” he captioned his post, along with the hashtags “#HappyVA-SEC-TO-MEEE,” “#snipsnip,” and “#SarapYungSedativeAh.”
In the comments section, netizens praised Drew for making this big decision for Iya. They wrote:
“You really are the man Drew! Salute to you for being a good and responsible husband and dad! Your wife is truly blessed!!”
“Sana all, lalaki naman talaga dapat nagfafamily planning method. You’re the man!”
“So proud of you sir, not all men would do that.”
In 2023, Drew had already opened up about his plan to get a vasectomy.
Vasectomy is a form of birth control for males that blocks the sperm from reaching the semen through a surgical procedure.
Drew and Iya have been married since 2014. They have five children, namely Primo, Leon, Alana, Astro, and Anya.
