Drake has just beat out British singer Adele’s record at the 2017 Billboard Music Awards on Sunday as he reaped 13 awards for his new album, “Views” at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
The “Passionfruit” rapper surpassed Adele’s feat, who held the show’s top record with 12 wins in 2012. Drake walked home big on Sunday, winning 13 out of 22 nominations, including top artist, top male artist and top Billboard 200 album (“Views”).
Drake stood onstage with about 20 people, including his father, Lil Wayne, and Nicki Minaj.
Drake was presented the top artist award by Prince Jackson, the late Michael Jackson’s eldest son.
