As part of the efforts for decongesting the capital and decentralizing government units, the Department of Transportation (DOTr) will begin moving its central office from Pasig City to Clark, Pampanga.
According to DOTr Secretary Art Tugade via radio interview, the move will start this Friday, July 28.
“This is our small contribution to relieve congestion in Metro Manila,” he said.
The transfer of the DOTr central office will be done in phases to have as minimal impact as possible to the public.
The move is expected to be complete by the end of the year.
