Donnalyn Bartolome to Donate Earnings from YouTube Video to Typhoon Ulysses Victims

26-year-old vlogger Donnalyn Bartolome has spent the past couple of days actively helping in the rescue operations for Typhoon Ulysses victims, particularly in nearby areas Rizal and Marikina City which were among the places most devastated by the storm surge.

She has been posting updates on her social media channels about her relief efforts, such as the purchase and delivery of several rescue boats to help those stranded in the flood.

Now, Donnalyn is using her YouTube platform to raise more awareness of what’s happening in the country and to get help raising funds for the purchase of relief goods. In her latest YouTube video, she revealed that all earnings made will be her audience’s “donation” to the cause.

The video was a compilation of clips she took during her rescue operations last Thursday, November 12. “Sumama po talaga kami because we can’t stay home,” she shared. “We can’t just sit there na walang ginagawa.

She gave a quick view of the things she saw along the way–muddy streets, trees that have been blown down, fixtures that have been destroyed, and all the people trying to save their belongings at home.

She also shared a link to an organization where people can send their monetary donations.
