It’s the end of an era for radio personality DJ Mo Twister, who recently bid farewell to his Las Vegas home—a place filled with memories, milestones, and moments shared with his family.

In a now-deleted Instagram post, Mo opened up about locking the door to the Nevada house for the last time. The home, he said, was where his children grew up and where countless memories were made.
“For the first time, I turned off every single light in the house and locked the door one last time. I’m not grieving the walls, but what they held,” Mo shared. “Two beautiful kids were raised in this home, and it was supposed to be theirs.”
Though the DJ didn’t name names, Mo said that someone who had “just been released from jail” entered the home and took what they considered “valuable” items. He revealed that among the things taken were luxury bags, jewelry, and clothes, while what was left behind were items deemed “junk.”
But to Mo, those so-called “junk” pieces meant everything.
As he went through what was left, he found keepsakes from his children. Each item, he said, held priceless memories that told the story of his family’s life in that home.
“As I went through the ‘junk,’ I found the most valuable of things,” he wrote. “His hospital bracelet from the day he was born… my daughter’s first haircut, her workbooks, her toys. These were the history of these children.”
He even found a drawing from his stepson Lucas, a simple sketch of him and his daughter Amsterdam, which he decided to leave taped on the wall as a symbol of love and memory.
“It’s not Da Vinci level art, but it’s priceless,” Mo added. “With the heaviest heart, I left my home today. And it feels like yet another connection I have with him gone.”
Mo, who revealed last year that his marriage to fellow DJ Angelicopter ended on their third anniversary, shared that he’s since purchased a new home—one that he hopes will be the setting for a new chapter, and maybe, a reunion with his stepson.
“In the meantime… There’s literally only one person on this planet that doesn’t call him my son, and that’s the only piece of junk I left behind,” he wrote.
The post may be gone, but it resonated with many who’ve followed Mo’s story. His message was clear: what matters most isn’t what we own, but the memories that stay with us.
