The Philippines may not have penguins but that does not mean we’re immune to their charms. Case in point: we completely swooned when we saw the trailer of Penguins, a new documentary released by Disneynature.
Watch the cute trailer below:
In the trailer, we are introduced to Steve, an Adelie penguin who is a “gentleman who stands out from the crowd” and “looking for love.” We are then introduced to his match and we get to see what life is like for a family of penguins. Based on the almost two-minute clip, it looks like a stunning look at Antarctica, one of the most “unforgiving and stunning places on Earth.”
Penguins is produced by the same team that did Bears and Chimpanzees so we can expect something entertaining and informative with their latest work. Here, we’ll learn about Adelie penguins and how they build nests, find partners, start families, and deal with threats like killer whales and leopard seals.
The documentary is set to premiere on Earth Day in 2019.
