The restaurant’s ambiance is as enchanting as its cuisine. Boasting a breathtaking view that remains a closely guarded secret, AMAH is the perfect escape from the ordinary. Its intimate setting makes it ideal for romantic dates or special celebrations.

The restaurant is located inside AFPOVAI 4 and is nicely tucked in on top of a building that gives an amazing view of Taguig. Since the location is near the airport, it’s also a great space to watch airplanes pass by. AMAH has two floors with both indoor and outdoor dining but of course, the highlight of AMAH is not just the view but the amazing food they offer.

There are two kinds of menus in AMAH, they have their tasting menu and their regular menu which changes every month. During our visit, we tried a bit of both.

Pata Tim Php800

Celebrations will not be complete without some Crispy Pata, or in this case, Pata Tim. It is perfectly cooked, crispy on the outside, and tender on the inside. The side of vegetables and sauce is also a perfect way to balance out the flavors.

Soy Chicken Half with Crispy Taro Hash Php700

If you fancy some chicken, you cannot miss out on their Soy Chicken. It is available in half or whole depending on if you want to share.

Char Siu (Smoked Pork Belly, Pickled Sides, Bao) Php500

If there is a dish that I will keep on coming back for, it would probably be the Char Siu. Though most Chinese restaurants in the market already offer Char Siu, I loved AMAH’s version because the sauce isn’t overwhelming, it has the right amount of smokiness and it is perfect to pair with their homemade baos and their pickled sides.

Siu Mai Php300

A Chinese menu will not be complete without dumsum. Though AMAH has a few like potstickers, fish cakes, and duck confit, their Siu Mai takes the cake. It is packed and huge! It’s tender and doesn’t even need the soy sauce because it’s already very flavorful.

American Ribeye Php1,900

ย But if you are celebrating or wanting to order something extra special, AMAH also has their American Ribeye Steak that is also served with some steak rice. Their steak is Angus beef so you can expect a tender and melt-in-your-mouth texture especially when cooked medium rare.

We haven’t tried the full tasting menu during our visit but we got to try this steak dish from their monthly tasting menu and it is such a treat tasting the steak that is paired with local ingredients.

Mais Con Yelo Php200

Chocolate Brownie Php300

We ended our meal with some sweet treats like their Mais Con Yelo and Chocolate Brownie.

AMAH is a culinary playground for food adventurers. With a monthly rotation of dishes, every visit promises a fresh and exciting experience. Chef Jose Villareal’s genius lies in his ability to reinvent classic Filipino flavors, transforming familiar tastes into extraordinary creations. By staying true to heirloom recipes while incorporating modern techniques, AMAH offers a unique dining journey that celebrates rich culinary heritage. Whether you’re a seasoned foodie or simply looking to explore new tastes, AMAH is the perfect place to embark on a gastronomic adventure.
