Dingdong Dantes is Launching a Food Delivery Service Called… DingDong

Who in the Philippines doesn’t know Dingdong Dantes? As if he isn’t already doing enough, the multi-awarded actor, director, producer, and philanthropist Jose Sixto “Dingdong” Dantes III has gathered the country’s best technology professionals to build a socially responsive online food marketplace and delivery app called DingDong.

The DingDong App serves the greater good by employing displaced workers of the entertainment industry as its riders and supporting home-based specialty food and beverage businesses by providing a dedicated delivery system and auxiliary services.

As chair of the YesPinoy Foundation, which advocates community building and sustainable human development and empowerment, Dingdong is aware of the pressing need for people to get back on their feet after losing their livelihoods to the pandemic. The opportunity to help came by way of harnessing technology to serve the increasing demand for delivery services and home-made food products.
