The Berlin Marathon aka the BMW Berlin Marathon is a major running and sporting event held annually in Berlin, Germany. Every year, both amateurs and professionals head to Berlin to join the run; and this year, several Filipino celebrities have decided to join, including Dingdong Dantes, Kim Atienza, and Tim Yap.
Dingdong has shared several photos leading up to the event on his Instagram account. In one photo, he thanks BMW Philippines for the opportunity, while in another, he mentions that their four-month journey has ended. “I may not have crossed the finish line yet, but I already feel like a winner because I had trained with these awesome and inspiring fellows,” he adds. He also posted a solo photo of himself with the caption: “Sabi nga ng utol ko, “ang tunay na finish line ay nag-aantay sa bahay.” Tumpak! I’ll be home soon my loves. Tim Yap also posted a team photo with a verse from Philippians 4:13: “I can do all this through Him who gives him strength”, giving credit to Kim Atienza for his life verse. “Still can’t believe I am already here, a day away from the Berlin Marathon,” he also states. “Thank you for all the support, positivity and prayers!” In a solo photo in front of a plane, he also dedicated the run to the kids of Smile Train PH. “Now let’s turn these miles into smiles,” he concluded.
