Rumors are circulating once again that actress Jessy Mendiola is officially tying the knot with partner Luis Manzano after netizens couldn’t help but notice her wearing a huge ring on her hand on her Instagram stories. Further fueling the speculations was when a bridal shop posted a photo of her trying on a wedding dress. The question now is: are Jessy and Luis finally getting married?
Without confirming nor denying the news, the 27-year-old actress spoke out about the viral photo on her social media, explaining that it was actually taken a year ago.
“Last year pa po ito,” she wrote on her Instagram story, saying that it was for a scene in Regal Entertainment Inc.’s romantic comedy movie Stranded.
“Kaya po hindi ako masaya tingnan, kasi ayaw ko po magpakasal sa eksena. Nood na lang po kayo sa Netflix! Makikita niyo itong gown sa isa sa mga eksena,” she added.
She did not answer the rumors about her alleged “engagement ring” but it can be noted that Jessy has been wearing diamond rings on her finger for quite some time now, as seen on her Instagram photos over the past months.
Luis has been open about being ready to take their relationship to the next step but has insisted that he won’t do it unless Jessy is also ready. They have been together for four years.
Looks like fans will have to keep waiting until that day eventually comes!
