Celebrity couple Ashley Benson and Cara Delevingne are no stranger to rumors about their relationship but it seems that the two have split for real this time.
People first dropped the news on Wednesday, May 6, that an unnamed source confirmed that the couple had broken up in early April, ending their almost two-year relationship.
“Cara and Ashley always had their ups and downs before but it’s over now,” the source told People. “Their relationship just ran its course.”
The two were last spotted by fans making Tiktok videos inspired by the Kardashian Family back in March.
Ashley and Cara have kept their relationship on the down-low since they were first spotted kissing in August 2018, with Cara only making it official via an Instagram video of a movie clip she shot with Ashley in celebration of Pride Month in June 2019. Days later, Cara gave her girlfriend a special shoutout in a televised acceptance speech at the TrevorLIVE Gala.
She even shared a sweet photo of them kissing on Valentine’s Day last February 2020.
Ashley, meanwhile, has refrained from publicly posting about Cara on social media to protect her privacy.
The two were also the subject of marriage rumors back in August 2019 which a source claimed was false.
